Temporada 76: cuadro de honor y lo que viene
Una nueva temporada comienza y se hace necesario poner en contexto lo que implican y en qué consisten las competencias Huerguistas, su recorrido histórico, sus ganadores y, por qué no, sus contradicciones y dificultades organizativas.
En primer lugar, un repaso a la última temporada, que dejó de manera oficial a Lucero Recargado como campeón de la Copa Ing. Huergo y de la Supercopa, a Ramos Mejía A.C. como campeón de la Copa Ing. Cichero y a Real Bebal como campeón de la Copa MaMadO (Maestro Mayor de Obra). Con estos resultados, el palmarés histórico en competencias oficiales Huerguistas es el siguiente:
De esta manera, la bastardeada y efímera Cichero es el único título oficial que separa a Ramos Mejía A.C. de Mantecas y Lucero, quienes lo siguen de cerca con 3 títulos Huerguistas.
De cara a la temporada que está comenzando, acalorados debates se suscitaron en el seno de la Federación respecto de cuál debía ser el formato de las competiciones oficiales en esta oportunidad. La presencia de nueve equipos históricos Huerguistas abrió la puerta a la inclusión de tres invitados, lo cual obligaba a un cambio de esquema respecto de la temporada anterior. Decimos tres invitados siendo generosos, ya que uno de estos equipos terminaría ocupando una plaza al tiempo que quedaba a la deriva por la inhabilitación de su manager, envuelto en operaciones turbias de compraventa de jugadores (y, digámoslo, por dos mangos).
Con la grieta instalada y tras varias votaciones finalizadas en bochornosos 38-38, se llegó a una definición que logró consenso respecto del esquema para la temporada 76, el cual detallamos a continuación.
Copa Huergo
La principal competición se jugará nuevamente en formato de liga pero esta vez a un partido (sólo ida). De esta forma, la copa coronará a su campeón en la semana 11 de la temporada.
Copa MaMadO (Maestro Mayor de Obra)
Una copa que, con distintas presentaciones (como la Huergo), llegó para quedarse. En esta ocasión los primeros ocho clasificados en la Huergo (excluyendo al caído en desgracia Os Piturros en caso que quedara en ese lote) competirán en esta copa las semanas 12 (cuartos de final), 13 (semifinales) y 14 (final). Los partidos serán organizados aleatoriamente por sorteo de Hattrick (la modalidad será torneo con créditos, no partidos desafío).
Supercopa
El ganador de la Copa Huergo enfrentará al campeón de la Copa MaMadO a partido único. Este encuentro se llevará a cabo en la semana 16, dejando la semana 15 libre de competiciones Hueguistas (y con calendario liviano para disputar el Torneo Héroes 2020).
En el caso que el mismo equipo resulte ganador tanto en la Copa Huergo como en la Copa MaMadO, a la final accederá el subcampeón de la MaMadO (junto al campeón de ambas competencias, claro está). Este último punto podría modificarse en una futura sesión extraordinaria de la Huergobol ya que algunos miembros pretenden darle la Supercopa directamente al bicampeón (en el caso que lo hubiera), sin necesidad de un partido adicional. Sin embargo, los derechos televisivos tienen una incidencia no menor en este tipo de decisiones y es por ello que por el momento y salvo indicación en contrario la final se jugará entre bicampeón y subcampeón de copa.
